1. Provider
BetterSelf is provided by mehrbytes GbR, Mika Ramsl and Mats Ramsl, An der Ehmsenkoppel 28, 24376 Rabel, Germany. Contact: info@mehrbytes.com. These Terms apply to the BetterSelf app and betterself.mehrbytes.com.

2. The BetterSelf service
BetterSelf helps you choose or create challenges, define daily tasks, build routines, join groups, and track personal progress. Challenge suggestions, reminders, streaks, insights, widgets, and shared group activity are tools for motivation and personal organisation.

3. No professional advice
BetterSelf does not provide medical, psychological, fitness, nutritional, legal, or other professional advice. The app is not a substitute for qualified professional support. You are responsible for deciding which challenges and tasks are appropriate for you.

4. Accounts and user content
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the content you add, including tasks, notes, profile information, progress photos, and group posts. You must have the necessary rights to upload or share content and must not upload unlawful, abusive, or harmful material.

5. Groups and sharing
Content shared in a group may be visible to other members of that group. Choose carefully what you share. We may remove content or restrict access where necessary to protect users, operate the service, or comply with the law.

6. Supabase and third-party services
BetterSelf uses Supabase for account authentication, synchronised challenge data, storage, and, where enabled, live group updates. The service also depends on hosting, app-store, notification, and payment providers. Availability and functionality can be affected by these providers.

7. Availability and updates
We aim to keep BetterSelf available and useful, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Features may change, be limited, or be removed for technical, legal, or business reasons. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued use.

8. Paid features
BetterSelf may offer subscriptions or other paid features. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the store through which you purchased the service. The applicable conditions are shown before purchase.

9. Intellectual property
The BetterSelf name, design, software, text, graphics, and other materials belong to the provider or their respective rights holders. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use BetterSelf under these Terms.

10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by reliance on suggestions, reminders, user-entered data, group content, temporary unavailability, or third-party services. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

11. Privacy and termination
Information about personal-data processing is provided in the Privacy Policy. You may stop using BetterSelf at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where required for security, misuse, legal compliance, or material breach of these Terms.
